Where is a place to get track shoes?

Where in MI should I get good track shoes or what brand should I get, and how long dos it take to break them in? I'm in 6th grade and i did track last year but i didn't have very good shoes. i do the 100 meter 200 meter and long jump. (i didn't know we were starting this thursday)

the best place would be a running shop.


Hansons running shop is the best but you can certainly find shoes at any sporting goods store. A good investment if you are good would be some spikes they actually do help!!!

Reply:I prefer the brand of nike or saucony. For the 100 and 200 i would also suggest getting spikes. it takes about 4-6 weeks to break them in. Dont worry if they arent as broken in as you thought they would be

Reply:Go to a specialty running shoe store that only sells running shoes and running apparel. There should be a person that looks at you walk with out your shoes on and that looks at your feet before they suggest shoes. Hope this helps
