HELP

My feet smell, really bad!?
generally, if you wash your feet really well, and you wear socks, you'll be fine. you may need new shoes.
Reply:... you can find the tea tree oil in the "Ethnic" (black) hair section at Walmart. I havent seen it anywhere else - thought I'd give you a heads up :-)
Reply:Use antiperspirant on the soles of your feet. It really does work! Plus Odor Eaters or new shoes if your old ones can't be salvaged!
Reply:I come from the stinky feet tribe too. For some reason our feet get extremely wet. Thus we are prone to more fungus problems on our feet and our shoes are wet at the end of the day.

Solutions include not wearing the same shoes day after day. Give them a day or two to dry out....even investing in a shoe dryer if you live in a damp climate. Wash your athletic shoes often. Buy new insoles......not the El Cheapos in the drug store but the shoe's own insoles...and they can be expensive. Shoes are not eternal........replace often.

Wear only cotton socks. Any synthetic sock makes our feet wetter. Wear well ventilated shoes.......all leather isn't for us and never leather without socks......even mules (as I kick mine off as I type). For dress shoes, use inserts as mentioned above, since nylons don't come in cotton.

Wash your feet every day and use powder. If you suspect a fungus, spray with foot spray. Allow your feet to air throughout the day...but only if you have the stink under control first. We of the stinky feet tribe can empty out a room quickly by removing our shoes.

For around the house shoes I often wear the German felt slippers and clogs. The wool felt breaths and I have less, not "no", but less moisture problems.
Reply:Wash your feet with very warm water and soap, get between each toe. When you dry them, get between each toe. That should help with the smell. Get some Lysol spray or something like that and spray your shoes after each wear to help reduce the smell.
Reply:In the 1940's during WWII the soldiers found that tea tree oil soap from Australia helped with foot odor. I wouldn't have believed it, except my x and my daughter have the exact same prob. we tried it before our divorce and bye bye foot odor in about 6 weeks. Keep fresh socks around where you can change them half way through the day. It helps!
Reply:Wear socks, and get new shoes. Wash your feet daily.

Most important - WEAR SOCKS.
Reply:Wash with anti-bacterial soap very well and regularly

Use "Odor Eater" type inserts. An antibacterial spray for inside your shoes may be needed to kick-start the process. Let your shoes air out and dry between use.

Until you get things under control, dampen a cloth or cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and wipe your feet before going to bed.

Gosh, I need to clean my screen, I thought it said "PORN" practice. Darn Helvetica font.
Reply:Go to Bath and Body Works or stores that specialize on foot and then buy foot scrubber or whatever...
Reply:i best way to get away of foot smell is to wash your feet in vinger that way it will stop the smell then you can put foot power in your shoe to help and go bare foot in the house to air them out
Reply:well obviously wash your feet but put some baby powder on your feet and put baking soad in your shoes over night and knock out the exess powder before you put them on.
Reply:Wash your feet every night; and for the shoes try "Odor Eaters." If that doesn't work, throw them out and buy new shoes.
Reply:Please don't go out in public!
