They're both brands that people suggest all the time.


again..i run 3 miles a day 4-5 days a week. roads/ sidewalks and outdoor track. anything is better than my last running shoes (too small). which of these shoes are more comfortable and will last longer?

You need to go to a store that specializes in running gear. They will watch you walk barefoot and can tell you what shoe is best for you. Then they will have you try on several and walk/run in them to see which you like best. They usually carry asics, brooks, saucony and other great running specific shoes. Reply:Definitely go with the Asics. They arent the most popular running shoe for no reason. They are great, comfortable, and last long. Asics is the only running shoe brand i will wear.
Reply:Before you jump the gun, consider looking into BROOKS. They are an excellent running shoe. Also, compare prices to Amazon.com before you buy.
Reply:I've tried Brooks, Saucony, and Asics and Asics is my favorite. It really is a personal preference thing though. You should go to a specialty running store and try on a bunch of shoes. Some places have treadmills so you can try them out before buying them.
