I wore my converse shoes out and now I'm looking for something a little different?

I loved my converse and wore them all last year, but now I want something similar, but different. Does that make any sense? I don't want to always be wearing converse, but I love the style and the comfort. I was gonna get a pair of the checkered Vans but EVERYBODY has those...I want something different.

Suggestions??

I wore my converse shoes out and now I'm looking for something a little different?
how about polka dotted/plaid vans slip ons, or the vans prison sneakers?
Reply:I had a pair of Chucks that I completely wore out and then I bought a pair of Pumas. I love them. They're really expensive, but they last a lot longer and they're just as cute.
Reply:how bout those sneakers that are slip on? do u know what i'm talking about? with no laces

What do you think of the choice in women that Matt (the Bachelor) picked last night?

I had a feeling he would pick Shayne. She does seem mature for her age but will Matt really mind her spending all that money on hundreds of pairs shoes and sunglasses?

What do you think of the choice in women that Matt (the Bachelor) picked last night?
We don't know that she will. I will tell you something I think though: At first, she was a bit flighty and bleached blonde bimboish, but I do think she is genuine and perhaps realizes what she has missed in her own family situation. I think she wants a real relationship: after all her parents were married "several times" each; and I don't think she wants that.

Amanda was so inarticulate for a woman her age, it was embarassing.
Reply:I saw Matt on a day-time talk show yesterday, (before the show later that night). He said he is still with the girl of his choice, (which turned out to be Shayne) and that things are getting better and better with them all the time. During the interview, I thought he really did have the look of a man in love and committed to this relationship. How wonderful for them! I wish them all the best. :)
Reply:He picked her because she acts like a child and that's kind of fun for him to pretend he's The Man. But it'll get old. He'll get tired of babysitting and wonder why he didn't pick an adult.

Sorry but she's 22 and acts more like 12- hardly mature for her age. What has she done with her life? No education, no job, lives with her parents.
Reply:I personally think he made the wrong choice she is a child. she is lucky cause he is hot. and he has money . but if she acts then why does hse need his money? and i havent seen her in anything. i think matts brother was right shane dont look like his type. i bet they are not even together anymore. she is to young to understand what it take to make a relanship work. I cant wait till next week when deanna gets her chance. the season she was on that was a bunch of bull that brad was given them girls. i am still confused till this day of what happened with all that
Reply:I was glad that he chose Shayne over Chelsea after Chelsea gave him the cold shoulder at first in Barbados.

I was really surprised to see Amanda go though. I thought she would have been the best match for him.

He seemed to be really taken with Shayne and Amanda from the very first show.

I wish them the best...only time will tell.
Reply:Personally, I didn't think either girl was right for him! I didn't think Chelsea even liked him very much, until she put on the sexy nightgown AND took off her underwear.

I knew Matt was going to choose Shayne because he seemed smitten with her since day one!! I really doubt they are still together because she was only 22 AND she is an actress. I really doubt she was there to find love!!
Reply:He seems really in love with Shayne and is comfortible with her quirkiness. I feel he was still unsure about Chelsea, she was slow in committing and that stayed with him in the final analysis.
Reply:idk i like her better than chelsea. but i dont think he kept the best 2 girls he could have. she was pretty and sweet and mature and all, but i dont think shes right for him.

Is it really worth buying $200 shoes?

I've been on what seems like an endless search for the perfect pair of red pumps. All I've been able to find in stores is patent leather, which I don't like in red. I went to shoes.com and found the most gorgeous pair of Anne Klein shoes, perfect height, color, etc. Only problem is, they're $207.99 (on sale!) and I can't seem to wrap myself around spending that much money on ONE pair of shoes. Am I nuts? Is it normal to spend that much money on shoes? I'm not a payless person at all - I like a good pair of shoes that will last a while, and I go for quality usually. I've always bought Nine West in the past, but recently have found that they're not the best quality. I don't mind spending $50 for a good pair of shoes...but $208?!! Help!

Is it really worth buying $200 shoes?
well i paid $175 for my juicy flats..

and im 13 and i had to save alot but i though it was SOOO worth it! people complimented me and stuff..

just think of it this way if u feel bad for spending $200 for them...

when you buy them you cant buy 4 more shoes... kinda confusing

but its like 4 pairs of shoes would be $200

so instead of buying 4 pairs in the future just buy the shoe that you like
Reply:If they are something that could be mixed and matched with many styles and will last for years to come (you're feet aren't getting any bigger) or you will wear nearly everyday (I don't think you will wear red pumps everyday though), then yes. But I would be willing to bet you could find some cheaper, somewhere.
Reply:If they're good Quality and Will last you a while ( Not fall apart in a week!=p)And are really nice and your not going to Dislike them after 2 days:P..Then yeah..I they are Reallly good in every way..GET THEM!:P..Im the same as you:P..Is it worth it?Is it not?..Lol=p x..

OR

You could spend the $200 on a lot more pairs of shoes, insted of just one lol! x:P
Reply:$200 is a lot for a pair of shoes....think about how often you will actually wear these shoes to see if they are worth the buy for you. i can't even wrap my finger around $200 for a pair of shoes I would wear daily.
Reply:If your feeling unsure, then chances are you shouldn't buy them. There are PLENTY of other places that sell those kinds of shoes. Plus, you can dye a white pair of plain pumps red.
Reply:Babee If you like them that much i say go for it but if you can get a simiilar pair in another shop for cheaper id say go for the cheaper ones but yeah just dish out you only live once
Reply:hard to say, friend.i buy my shoes regularly from http://www.nikestorevip.com, they are very cheap.no more than $55 for a good pair of shoes??
Reply:yes you definitely should
Reply:nope beacuse you will eitehr grow out of them soon or they will wear out very soon
Reply:yes its worth it those r so cute my sis has them and i wear them all the time.

Why was Gwen Stefani wearing white shoes with black hose last night?

What an awful look! just my opinion

Why was Gwen Stefani wearing white shoes with black hose last night?
I agree....Shes got terrible style...in my opinion.*
Reply:She wanted for her shoes to stand out...
Reply:You just now noticing Gwen Stefani has a unique fashion sense? She's been around since '92 and never was much of a conservative dresser.
Reply:She's really beautiful and usually dresses fashionably, but when she performs, she goes for the extreme. Most performers do.
Reply:UPS didn't deliver her personal shoes on time,so she borrowed those from Ryan Seacrest.
Reply:Simply because she wanted to and she did. You silly thing. Thank you.
Reply:It's the look. For her.
Reply:Shes hot and famous she can were what she wants
Reply:Cause she's cool like that! Her style is her own.
Reply:Remember that fashion worn on TV is not meant for the streets. I think it helped show off the dancing she and the dancers were doing. You could see the dance steps they were doing and it was cool! :)
Reply:because she has the choice and doesn't care about you're opinion. Maybe
Reply:Cause shes Gwen Stefani and thats just what she does.
Reply:Can we spell.....TRAMP.....
Reply:I didn't see it but it does sound awful. When you're famous, you can pretty much wear anything though and the fashion mags will talk about how HOT it looks but when a regular civilian is seen trying to get the same "look" they end up looking like an idiot!! Why is that?
Reply:It's just her style.
Reply:B/C she can...she's hot!
Reply:maybe the design people for the video ask to wear that

it must be hard to always be new and fashionable, without being silly
Reply:It just goes to show you that in fashion there's a double standard for famous people and average people.

Famous people can wear crap.

Regular people will get crucified for wearing crap
Reply:An awful look that probably thousands of teenage girls are wearing to school today. Gwen is a major fashion influence now.
Reply:coz otherwise she would have been naked

Good shoes for a tall guy?

I'm 6'5 and I want some shoes that suit me. I usually wear Converse but I'm getting bored of them. I wore plain Vans last time but they don't go good with the skinny jeans I wear. I have extremely big feet (size 14). My feet are also very narrow. This is why I've worn Converse for so long. Can you guys give me a link to a picture of a pair of shoes that suit me?

Good shoes for a tall guy?
Why not create your own tennis shoes. I love the new Nike ones found here.

Reply:Gotta love them boots. I'd get a good pair of cowboy boots and wear your jeans inside them. That works especially well with skinny jeans. They're tall, so they kinda contrast and make you look... not as tall.

There was never a mention of the baby in the show. She wasn't pregnant on it, only in real life. They just played it as though she had gained a little wait.
Reply:No. That show is as gay as the characters.

Just curious. are there any girls or women who do not care if the step on a bug or not? seems like some have

a hang up with it. please let me know the last bug you squashed and what shoes you were wearing and if it bothered you that you had killed him?

Just curious. are there any girls or women who do not care if the step on a bug or not? seems like some have
you dont kill anything that doesnt hurt you... be it a bug or an insect.
Reply:I care. If its by accident that's one thing, but if you do it on purpose that's entirely different.
Reply:nope. I squashed a bug 5 minutes ago on my bathroom sink.
Reply:I don't have a problem stepping on bugs, as long as I have shoes on -- wouldn't want to be barefoot.

The last bug I squished was a black spider in the basement last night. I was wearing my orange and white nike shox. I took a paper towel and wiped the guts off the bottom of my shoe and I felt alot better.
Reply:uhm i dont remember the last time i killed one.

it doesn't bother me to step on a bug at all. the only thing i wont step on because i'm terrified of them is spiders. otherwise, i won't hesitate most of the time
Reply:Depends on the bug. A roach I will gladly squash with no qualms. Ditto brown recluse spiders in my house. If it is a harmless bug that is just in the wrong place, including spiders, I will try to take it outside rather than kill it. I will never kill a bug that is outdoors. I can't remember the last time I killed a bug, much less the shoes I was wearing.

Funny thing: my New Balance have so much tread that when I step on a bug with them, it usually gets away anyway.
Reply:Last killed...I can't remember. I don't mind stepping on them, but the only problem is the gooey stuff they leave behind. So I don't step on anything unless I'm outside. Too much of a mess to clean.

I just don't like squashing bugs with my hands. Now that drives me crazy.

I'm not cruel. Who asked them to crawl up into my house??

Why do knees hurt after walking/jogging?

I've been mostly walking with some jogging, and now my knees started hurting after my last walk. It only hurts a lot when I go up and down the stairs in my houses. What's going on? I was wearing walking shoes and bought some gel insoles, I'm not running fast, just jogging -- I'm one to run out of breath very quickly. I went through the whole legs and ankles being sore bit, but that has gone away. And then out of nowhere, I wake up the next morning and my knees hurt. My legs aren't sore or anything, just pain in my knees. I decided not the go to the park over the weekend and lay in bed most of the time, but I'll start my routine during the weekdays again. If the pain persist, how long should I put off a doctors visit? Should I even go to the doctors?

Why do knees hurt after walking/jogging?
i'll be honest with you there can be a whole bunch of reasons why this is happening. Usually weight plays a big role in joing pain. If you have gained a few pounds here and there, it will affect your joints. Also, if you are at the age were arthritis is becomming a reality, you might want to get it checked out. Usually those are the common reasons. I think it would be best of you visit a doctor, orthopedic to be exact soon. Hope it gets better soon.
Reply:How about you rest your knees for awhile. Take it easy and take some glucosamine and omega 3 to help keep the joints in your knees well lubricated and may help with the pain you are experiancing.
Reply:the problem is maybe you haven't excercised alot lately because that's how you get cramps and in this case pain in your knee. you're just not used to running frequently
Reply:do you stretch out before you jog/walk? this may be the cause, make sure that you stretch all your body before you exercise. also, it could be the way you jog, perhaps try and find a joging style that isn't too hard on your knees, like don't run hard down a hill or something like that. i hope this helps =)
Reply:Since u run out of breath very quickly, u could b overweight which is one of the main reasons of pain in knees. If u r jogging on a hard surface, it stresses ur knees %26amp; ur back bone, causing pain. U must jog only on grassy surfaces. If u have injured ur knee recently, u may b having a torn ligament in the knee causing pain.

Do not put off seeing ur doc.
Reply:i get that it must be normal
Reply:i think u should go to the doctars and cheack it out
Reply:you might have a mild case of arthritis which is barely starting to develop.........try going to an orthopaedics doctor to get them checked

Can someone advise me how to sell my bad running dead stock summer shoes, Plz help, really poor now!?
Have you considered opening a shop on ebay/listing your stock on e-bay? You could sell the lot wholesale or list them individually to buyers as an online business?
Reply:After you have made enough out of slippers, to prevent the so called hill, you could give some stuff to a charity shop. As a guess mules are shoes in this case, anything special about them ie. abnormal sizes, designer, creating you own brand or gap in the market sound good. Another idea would be opening a shop near a school where they need these shoes.

How can i make my shoes comfy?

Its not very often I wear heels cause the balls of my feet hurt and Im not the kind of barbie doll girl that would rather be crippled than not be wearing this seasons footwear.

I 'test wore' my heels last night, a walk to the bus stop, across town, to a meal and then to the taxi.... It felt like i walking on razor blades. (!)

I dont want to wear flats, so please dont answer this if thats all your going to say.

I would like advice on how to stop my feet hurting. A good brand of shoe maybe or do those jelly insoles actually work?

will my feet eventually stop hurting if i wear hells more regularly?

How do some girls manage to totter round all night in 6 inch heels without being in agony or are they in pain but in denial?

help please, im going shoe shopping tonight

How can i make my shoes comfy?
Have you tried scholl party feet? they're like little cushions you put in shoes, and they sell them at most shoe stores, keep you feet nice and comfy xx
Reply:You might wanna try putting iner souls into your shoes.

Its always worked for me
Reply:i think u should waer those shoes which got fat heels.its very stylish too.
Reply:You could try those jelly inserts - sometimes I feel they work and sometimes they don't. If your shoes aren't too tight, you could try padded inner soles. Also, you may be right with your comment about wearing heels more often - perhaps you feet would get used to the position and feel of heels. If you're going out shoe shopping tonight how about trying on different heel hights to see if that makes any difference? Good luck and happy shopping!
Reply:been there done that god i feel sooo sorry for you its a bummer if yr shoes are new and maybe slightly tight try putting slightly wet rolled up newspaper in them overnight that helps to stretch them slightly that was a cobbler that gave me that tip and it does work another thing you mentioned was those jelly insoles they only really help if yr shoes are slightly bigger to start with ,try caring a small can or bottle of peppermint cooling spray for feet from the body shop and when they sting just spray really refreshes yr feet ,but please take a tip from a high heal wearer in the long run they do NO favours for yr back i know that to my cost I'm suffering every day from chronic back pain due to constant high heals if you think about it yr really pushing yr spine in an awkward position so all I'm saying is just be care-full don't be a fashion victim but do try the peppermint spray it really does cool them happy walking :)Tc x
Reply:There are several types of shoe inserts available for heels now. Wedges are also usually more comfortable to stay in and can be just as cute, but this way your weight is more evenly distributed.

If a strap is cutting into your foot and you don't have time to break them in, or it continues doing it, put a flesh colored bandaid under the strap so it won't rub.

Usually, the more you invest in a shoe, the better it will be comfort wise (not always) bc the materials are higher quality, but I buy inexpensive heels all the time. Bandaids, shoe inserts and wedge heels are the best way to go though. You can stay in those all night long, and your balance won't be thrown off as much.

And if you find out your foot is sliding in the heel and causing discomfort, just spray some hairspray in the ball of the shoe, then let it dry for a minute. It might feel a little odd at first, but it will keep your foot from sliding down.

Unfortunately, some shoes you just can't save. If a shoe hurts in the store when trying it on, don't get it. There's only so much you can do.
Reply:Try the party feet if the shoes are open at the toe.

For closed toe shoes you can get insoles that are just for the ball of the foot that hook over your middle to to keep them in place.

If you have got a big night coming, wear your shoes around the house for a few evenings to get used to your muscles used to being in the postion.

Your feet would get used to heels if you wore them more often as the skin/flesh hardens/thickens to protect the areas if impact.

A tube of haemarroid cream is a must, rub the balls of your feet, it has a mild anesthetic in it and will numb the pain a bit.
Reply:buy some party feet gel or some confy insoles
Reply:hiya, the gel insoles are pretty good. I always suffer with the balls of my feet aching!

invest in some, they really work!
Reply:I'm exactly the same as you.

* Scholl Party Feet really help

* Maybe it's the size of the heel? Try going for a small heel like 3inches or maybe kitten heels.

*Another idea would be wedges. They're this seasons 'in' shoe and they are so easy to waer because they're flat on the bottom.

Good luck, and I hope your feet get better!
Reply:Serious answer here, but if their leather you could p.i.s.s. in them! My uncle used to work down the mines, and he always did that in his new boots to soften the leather!........A bar of soap rubbed on the offending area of shoe may be a little more to your liking tho?! ;-)
Reply:Yes Scholls PARTY FEET are definately a good option. I bought my first pair of high heels for a Christmas party last year and got the jelly inserts to go with them and they DO WORK! They are very comfortable. The only tip is to try them on in store with the shoe because I needed a half size bigger shoe to accomodate the insert. After wearing heels for a while, your feet should get used to them and you'll find them easier to wear. Good luck!
Reply:It might be that you just have to keep practise wearing them in, you could try those Jellies, but it maybe simply that they are new shoes.

If they feel stiff, rub a bit of vaseline on the affected area, and then you may feel the pain less.

Help buying running shoes!!?

I'm 19 years old and I have been running 3-5 miles a day 4 days a week for about 5 years now. Within the last year and a half I have noticed that I am going through running shoes a lot quicker than I need to because my heels rub through the fabric on the back of the shoe so I end up rubbing against plastic (ouch!) I have done this with my last 3 pairs of shoes, the first 2 were New Balance and the last Mizuno. I've found that I rub through the heel after about 3 runs.

Does anyone else have this problem or know a solution to it? Also, any recommendations on a good running shoe?

Thanks!

Help buying running shoes!!?
That sounds like a serious problem in your running form if you're rubbing through the heel of your shoe. I suggest putting insoles into the shoe you buy that have a lot of cushion. Take out the soles that come with the shoe you buy and put in that pair in every new pair of shoes. Look up questions about correct form it could be that you're landing on your feet wrong. You want to land on the balls of your feet. And I'd recommend wearing Asics Gel-cumulous. they have cushioning.
Reply:I just bought some great running shoes that are made by a company called Brooks. I have never heard of them before but I love the shoes. You can also try going to a specialty store that will recommend shoes based on the shape of your foot and the way you run. It's called gait analysis. That is what I did and my new shoes have helped me immensely with shin splints and such. Good Luck!
Reply:I only buy shoes made in America. New Balance now makes some really high quality shoes that are made in America. The shoes are identified by a special label.

In general, running shoes don't differ much. What differs is how individual feet conform to individual shoes. Each shoe model will conform differently to a person's foot.

That being said, if you are really concerned about running shoes then you should visit a good shoe store that specializes in athletics shoes. Good shoe stores have skilled individuals that will pick shoes that best fit your feet. (Many good athletic shoe stores are near university campuses with good sports programs. )
Reply:Asics have always worked for me, give them a try. If you rub through the heel after just 3 runs then maybe the shoes are too small or you have the wrong type of shoe (ie. not enough support/cushion) I am 6-1 150 and had a similar problem because I didnt have enough support in my running shoes. And I mean I am by no means a "big" guy but not all of us can be kenyans who are 115 pounds and can wear the lightest of all shoes
Reply:i absolutely LOVED my ascics gel 1110. they're unbelievably comfortable and very light. i would dedinitely reccomend any kind of ascics. GOOD LUCK!!!
Reply:Go to a good local (in your area) specialty running store. They can recommend the most appropriate shoes for you. However, I wonder if you wear decent running socks (50-50 polyester) and not cotton ones? Maybe you do need a bit wider shoe than the standard "D" width?
Reply:i like to wear asics cause it soft and you can fell the air in your she so ur feet dont sweat alot so ur shoes dont smell uts real good it does asics have gel made in to the shoe so to some people it feels like walking on air and goes ruin fast
Reply:If your heels are rubbing the fabric, is it possible that your shoes are too small for your feet?

For good running shoes, I used Nikes, which took a fair amount of getting used to, but worked fine. Now I'm in Reeboks, but they are track spikes and I never really considered reebok a great running shoe brand. I hear good things about asics as well, although I have never used them. It seems like they should be the best because they specialize in running.
Reply:If you rub through the heel after jsut 3 runs, you likely are in the wrong type of shoe. Try going to a specialty running store that'll fit the shoe to your foot type and give you a sturdy trainer.
Reply:I like Addidas... When you go to buy them check their weight (running shoes must be very light) and their flexibility (they should be flexible). Don't be afraid of spending lots of money.

annual credit report

Can somebody explain this to me why did it happened?

Everytime, after a 1 - 2 mile running test (that we have every 6 months), my hips %26amp; legs would hurt! I can't barely bend my knees! It lasted for about 2 days usually. I think that's because I was not using proper shoes. Students from our school can't wear any other shoes to school other than school shoes. So, it's a cumbersome to have running shoes in my bagpack to school just for the test.

What's weird is last week, we had the running test again and I didn't feel exhausted after the test like I used to be. I didn't feel tired at all during the run! Taking a break during the run is no longer necessary. I can still run after the test %26amp; I have more energy left than usual and my time is MUCH MUCH better!! Honestly, I don't know why. I was using the same shoes! And the next day, my hips, legs %26amp; heels felt normal! NO PAIN! Same thing happened to my twin.

I don't understand, why did it happened?!

Can somebody explain this to me why did it happened?
I have had good days and bad days for running. If you got away with running in bad shoes last time, lucky for you!

Really, you should get some real running shoes or you run the risk of going back to the painful result. If you abuse yourself enough, the injuries could last forever. Also you might have changed your form, the way you run, with improved results.

If you're a teenager, your ability to run increases dramatically, so that could be it.

But really, get some good shoes!
Reply:Your problem sounds like you have tight muscle and tendons.

A lot of runners experience problem with tendonitis and fasciitis, which can cause pain only after you run for a while. It has nothing to do with shoes. It has to do with stretching and conditioning.

If you stretch on regular basis, your tendon and fascia will be more flexible, so when you exercise, they are less likely to get inflammed.

If you run regularly, your body will be condition to the running and will have less pain. That's how people train for marathons - to run more and more until the short milages does not cause pain, then you increase the milage further.

Start Stretching on daily basis, then do a good warmup and stretching before you run. It will help.
Reply:Sounds like your Gatorade finally kicked in.

What is the best running/walking shoes for overweight individual?

There's no way around it: I'm overweight.. quite a bit overweight, and I need to start exercising. The best and easiest way for me to do that is walking, and that constitutes needing new shoes.

I did some research a couple years ago when I bought the New Balance shoes I have now and found that running shoes would be the way to go. So, I'm looking for running shoes that offer the most cushioning (because of my weight and issues I have had with shin splints and sore feet) and.. well, whatever else is important, I suppose. Not real particular about brand, but I do know that I had a ton of foot and leg problems previous to my last pair of shoes (New Balance, but to be fair up until then I wore mostly flip flops and an occasional basketball shoe)..

I ran through the Shoe Dog at roadrunnersports.com and found that I most likely have a medium arch and straight mechanics.

Thank you all for your input.

What is the best running/walking shoes for overweight individual?
cross trainers are nice and light weight. they have arch and heel support. there are nice pairs from nike, but don't go with anything like shocks or anything with a huge heel..chances are that you will roll on your ankle and twist your foot. Also, you want a light shoe to run with because if your shoes are heavy or bulky it will be harder to run and you'll get tired even quicker just from dragging your feet with the big heels, so choose carefully but yeah nike and asics are good brands for that sort.
Reply:look around for different shoes.....just dont get nike. they arent really good for your feet, even though everyone wears them. the best way to go is ASICS! they are the best. they fit my feet best, and i havent had any problems with them.
Reply:nike shox
Reply:New Balance offers a variety of widths in their shoes that might be more comfortable if your feet are fat.
Reply:asics are the best i have run with them for a while and most of my track team and coach wears them wears them

are they still gunna be in this winter or are they so last year??

Any suggestions and links to pages to shoes under £25?

Shoes!!!...... look of 07?... or soooo last year???......?
omg, just before i came on here and read your question i bought the EXACT same boots from eBay in another colour from this seller!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Luckily the 'UGG' style boots have been around long enough for them to be a classic fashion so go ahead.
Reply:ugg boots are a classic i don't think there are ever 'in' or 'out'.

they are very popular every winter season i love them.i prefer the creamy colour tho but that's just my opinion so go with the chestnut ones if u like them!!
Reply:girl those are so last year.
Reply:really so last year.
Reply:They are OK....kind of...bland. If you do decide to get them it doesn't matter if they are 'in' or not. Just make sure you wear them awesome and nobody will care it they are in or not! :)
Reply:whether they are "in" or not, they are vile looking boots. If they are "in" at the moment, they are so conspicuous that you wouldnt be able to get away with wearing them for very long anyway, cos soon they will soon become very dated.

Try not to follow fashion, try to set your own sense of style.
Reply:gross! those are soooo fashion prison!
Reply:I like them. I like that they look as tho you wouldn't slide on the ice too much.
Reply:Personally I think they are out of style. But based on the number of comparable shoes that I see at school, they might still be "in" enough to wear. Try not to wear them everyday though, they may be comfortable but even comfortable shoes con be bad.
Reply:I love that style of boot . I cant seem them going out of fashion any time soon .

You should try new look . they have awesome shoes at really low prices!
Reply:those boots are like the ultimate to have in your wardrobe. i dont think that they will ever go out of style i know uggs have been around for a loong time and every year around xmas they sell out super fast. i think theyre super cute and super comfy to wear. if you like them go ahead and get them like i said i cant see them going out of style any time soon

What do you think of these coach shoes?

i saw them last year and didn't get them, but now i wish i had becuase i can't find them in stores now. I've checked the mall and the coach website, Ebay is my last chance. 1. What do you think of these shoes?

2. Is this seller safe?

3. If i normally wear a 7.5 in tennis shoes, would i still be that size in this brand? go up a size? down a size?

thanks!

p.s. I'm a 13 year old girl, so if you think they look childish, that's becuase they're for a child!

here they are:

What do you think of these coach shoes?
Yeah they fit your age definitely. Nothing wrong with them, good choice! BTW, you can look at the seller's past feedback and stuff
Reply:You asked this yesterday, and I still think the same thing about them
Reply:I don't like them. I wouldn't pay $68 for a pair of tennis shoes if Diana herself had worn them. They look like they are for a 5 y/o child.
Reply:they are on amazon also if you don't want to buy them off ebay.

Reply:I like them!!!
Reply:I'm 13 too, and honestly they are UGLY, even for coach! But if you get them i would get them in an 8.
Reply:im 13, and your a teen (as in thirTEEN), and not a child, and they are ugly AND childish
Reply:if your in the army they sell those for about 50 bucks at the px and there real. army people just get a discount i was gonna buy um but my mom says i am to rough on shoes
Reply:honestly,i don't like the shoes..try something less childish...it will make u look cooler
Reply:go for it they r so cute !!!!

Ladies, I have a first date tonight, with a girl I met last semester at school. What shoes should i wear?

I'm driving us down to the ocean.. not to swim, the waters still too cold, but just to look and eat dinner at a restaurant on the beach. I'm wearing some tan cargo shorts and a blue polo shirt. Check the pics and let me know... also, should I wear my shoes the way they are in the pics... loose with the laces tucked inside, or tie them up? http://good-times.webshots.com/album/559...

Ladies, I have a first date tonight, with a girl I met last semester at school. What shoes should i wear?
Tie your shoes. Casual clothes call for casual shoes and if you are going to take a little stroll on the beach after the meal untied shoes in sand could cause embarrassing losage of shoe and make you look like a clown.
Reply:the third or th efifth ones ar ethe only acceptable ones. good luck :)
Reply:i would say the blue nikes.black would be too dark with light colors and the nikes have blue in them to go with your shirt.plus they would be comfortable to walk along the beach in.tie them makes you look cleaner and more mature.
Reply:Wear some cologne...thats always nice :)
Reply:I say you should wear the fifth pair because blue shirts, with a hot pair of black tennies are sure to get you the girl. The other pairs are to work outy and i wouldn't want to go on a date with a guy that wore those. Good luck with the date your bound to be fab in the fifth pair! :)
Reply:If you really like this girl, don't worry so much about your shoes. Are you up on your manners? Bring her a flower to start off with. Be a gentlemen, be polite.

Have fun

what you're wearing sounds nice, I like the white kswiss.
Reply:I totally think the 4th ones! Hot!
Reply:you should definately wear either the white and blu nikes or the kswiss (they match!)but anyway either would be fine.
Reply:k swiss with laces tucked in! unless your over 25 ........... cute plans by the way she will love it have fun good luck
Reply:I think the KSwiss ones, (White) and do it with laces tucked in. Good luck and have fun
Reply:dude dont totaly dress up wear like something like a black t-e-shirt and jeans .......WISH YOU LUCK
Reply:The first shoes and tie them it makes you look like your serious about her and want to take time for her. Good Luck!
Reply:to be honest, i wuld wear jeans, and a button up shirt untucked of course, and i guess snaekers are ok. good luck

This has something to do with the product, but still was just weird (Starburst Berries and Cream)

Flips flops....Rainbows if you gottem.

Otherwise wear your shoes tied regular.

Untied to too gangsta.
Reply:I personally like the white shoes with the grey laces.. either that or the k-swiss ones.. but if you're going down to the water I'd imagine white ones would get dirty.. Wear the ones with the grey laces, laces tucked in like they are in the picture, just give the shoes a whip first! :)

Good Luck!

Make sure you have a sweater or blanket in the car.. it can get chilly at night, and girls like to wear a guys sweater! :)

It's also cute to cuddle by the beach on a blanket!

Has anybody tried the CrocsRX? specifically the Relief? I have plantar fascitis and i want to try them...?

I already have 2 pairs, one is beach that i use around the house and another a mary jane that i use when i go out. but the way i go thru my footwear it only last for about a couple of months. my bf is in chicago now and i'll ask him to order online for me.

but first i want to know if anybody has actually tried the CrocsRx relief? and if it runs true to size or if i should get a size larger? I wear W8-9 for beach and W8 for Mary Jane...

btw wearing crocs seems to help w/ my pf, i still feel a little pain when i walk wearing them but not as much as i would have had I worn my athletic shoes or my shoes w/ orthotics. orthotics doesnt really help me w/ the pain at all =(

so im trying all that's possible to deal with the pain.

Has anybody tried the CrocsRX? specifically the Relief? I have plantar fascitis and i want to try them...?
no i havet tried it
Reply:I really like the Crocs Rx Relief shoes. I found a site that ships them free and gives a multiple quantity discount: http://www.OrthoticShop.com. You may want to try them out they are very comfortable. Report It

Reply:OK here it goes and it will sound crazy but hair salons have a neck rest made of gel sort of like the gel that is in some shoes but much thicker buy two head rest at 4 bucks each cut to fit any shoe and you will always feel like your walking on air its just that good I found a barber chair place in cookeville tn that builds these chairs and they have tons of stock for sale I think the place was called Collins yes that's it COLLINS its worth the order NO MORE PAIN EVER!!!
Reply:Be careful before purchasing more of these. Some Hospitals have banned employees from wearing these, due to the high risk of falling. Have you been to a Podiatrist? The Foot Specialist is the best Doctor to see when having such problems? Sounds like you need to elevate ur feet while @ rest, and take up to 800 mg of ibuprophen every 6 hours for ur pain- that is an anti-inflammatory med. Also, place some ice on ur feet when elevated and @ rest. A bag of veggies make an excellent ice bag. Hope this helped. Take Care!

What's the deal here?

This is crazy but I wonder why that Buddy character in Fried Green Tomatoes didn't survive the train wreck. I know, it's because Fannie Flag says so but his foot did come out of the shoe at the last minute and he could have been thrown. Sorry for this dumb hypothetical question.

What's the deal here?
well it is a movie and not real life and the writer wanted it that way.............................????????...
Reply:Wow, I haven't seen that movie in a long time! We just went yesterday to the town it was filmed in. Now I want to see the movie again! I don't remember it much. We ate at he Whistle Stop Cafe! It is very beautiful there. I got pics of the railroad. The train goes by every 30mins!
Reply:oh i know i had to watch that like 10 times...his foot did come out, and it shows it to some extent.
Reply:sounds like my look at Friday the 13th movies

A girl gets thrown out a window front first.

unless she broke her neck on the window frame,

then i seriously doubt her two floor fall would have killed her.

maybe a broken hand or leg
Reply:Gravity and draft. The draft along witht he size of the train sucks Buddy into the train. With only one foot to push off with, Buddy does not have the strength to jump out of the way of an oncoming train tht's mass is sufficient to draw him into it. In other words he couldn't escape the draft of the train on only one foot.
Reply:Yeah I saw that movie, and I thought...if your foot is caught and the train is rapidly approaching, and you couldn't get your foot free, wouldn't you just lean your body off the tracks and let it take your leg and foot.. instead of killing you? I would choose to lose a leg before dying.

When was the last time u slipped and fell on ice?

wat kind of shoes were u wearing that made u lose grip?

When was the last time u slipped and fell on ice?
I don't know what kind of shoes I was wearing but it has been a few years since I have fallen on the ice. Probably because I got hurt so badly that I am extra careful now.

My husband and I were leaving my friends apartment one very cold wintry night. He was holding his brand new laptop in his arms and I was walking beside him when I just slipped. Well, in his quest to try to catch me, his laptop fell and broke (thankfully it was fixed for free) and then instead of helping me he actually slipped too and ended up falling right on top of me. So in an attempt to not end up with another broken elbow, I am very very careful in the winter now...:)
Reply:it was about two years ago and i was wearing almost new timberland boots......... it doesnt matter the shoe's just be cautious on ice and dont run and what not.....................don't be DUMB!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:You're blaming it on the shoes ? That'll get you off the hook.
Reply:I think it was in January -- I was walking out to the car to leave for school and we had just had a terrible ice storm.. but of course I was wearing my little plaid skirt and white polo for my uniform with my norhface coat but I had on socks and berkenstocks.. not my brightest choice, considering the driveway was covered with ice. My driveway is like a hill -- so I fell at the top and slid down to the curb... I had to go to the doctor cause I had frost bite on my legs from sliding on the ice. (stupid private schools should let you wear pants in the winter). Im not sure what made me loose my grip.. I think I just kinda slipped. Yeah, I miss the east coast.. Midwest Winter sucks!

When was yours?

What about you?

My dad is 6'2" and my mom is 5'7" i dont know if its important but my grandpa is 5'10" and my grandma is my moms height. I think i passed my growth spurt since i sortof stopped growing for a while now (last year i grew like 4-5 inches) i'm a size 11.5 shoe if that helps. thanks

Reply:You could be somewhere around 6'2, based on your parents height. But everybody inherits different things, when it comes to genes, you know? You could get to maybe to 6'3 or 6'4, who knows! Your shoe size really doesn't matter that much unless you were over 6'6. Feet size don't really play a role in height!

Reply:Its psychological. You have to ask yourself before buying something you want whether you really need it or its just to appease your desire of getting hold of it.

Try to go for less pricy stuffs. Like if you want to buy a branded shoes, why not look around at cheaper stores?.

Its all about discipline and practicality.
Reply:If you're like me, when you have a bad day and you purchase something, you feel better. It's what I call 'retail therapy', lol. What I've done is if I know I'm having a bad day, I will give me credit/check cards to one of my roommates I can trust and therefore I'm prevented from shopping! Try going for a walk instead - it takes you away from your purse and gives you a chance to clear your head.
Reply:First you need food to live. and try a goodwill store the have cheap cloths and the look almost brand new. Don't eat out, eat at home until you get a job.

How do you start putting your life back together after losing a loved one?

It's been a calendar month since I lost my best friend, lover and soul mate in a tragic motor vehicle accident, a car pulled out of a juncton and hit his bike, he was killed instantly. His lasts words that morning were 'love you, have a great day, see you tonight', smiling his wonderful dimpled smile. We had seventeen magical months of sheer bliss and I thanked my stars everyday that he was mine. He was perfect in every way and he had the abilty to touch the lives of everyone he met in positive ways, he cared deeply for others and gave so much of himself. So many people are grieving his loss and I am at a loss as to how I am supposed to carry on without him. I have had all the old sayings, time heals, life goes on and he would not want you to be sad, but none of it helps. Today I picked up a pair of his shoes and cried, today I finaly realised that he was gone for good and was never coming back, was it a step forward ?Because it feels like ten back.

How do you start putting your life back together after losing a loved one?
Yes, you took your first step today towards the reality that he is never coming back. Now, that does not lessen your pain, but time is the only thing that will ever do that. Allow yourself to grieve, and mourn. You lost the most wonderful person in the world to you. Don't set timetables, or have expectations when you will be "over" him. Go about your daily functions as much as possible, and if you need to cry, cry.....scream, whatever it takes to lessen the pain for that moment. Gradually, it will get better. Good Luck!!
Reply:So sad. I don't think anyone could read your story without being in tears. Life can be terribly hard.

I don't think time necessarily heals, but it helps. When you feel ready for it, join a reading group or a language class, or any such thing that suits you. You will then meet new people and generate new interests and concerns.

I wish you well.
Reply:I am very sorry for your loss. It takes at least two years to come to terms with losing the love of your life. Keep busy and make friends. Don't stay at home and feel sorry for yourself. People don't come to you - you have to go out and make new friends by, perhaps, joining a social group, a walking group is a good idea. I know from experience.
Reply:im sorry that happened. i know that you love him dearly but he has moved on to a better place. he wouldn't want to be your stumbling block and yes that is a step forward. i too have lost someone dear. you just have to keep pushing on no matter what life throws at you. good luck and may God comfort you.
Reply:time is a great healer. it took me 2 years to stop getting upset when my husband died. now i can talk about him and not be an emotional wreck. Have friends and family around that helps and try to keep busy.

Horse boots, so i don't have to get metal shoes?

what are some good tough boots that won't tear up after the 2nd ride, will last a long time and is comfy for my horse. I don't want horse shoes, these are so i can ride on the road and the gravel without my horse slipping or steppin on a rock. I've heard of the Old Mac boots, but my friend said they tore up after one ride, but of course she went on a long very rough trail ride. please give me your experiences and what you have found to work the best without using a whole paycheck to get it!

Horse boots, so i don't have to get metal shoes?
I use Boas and EasyMac. Boas have a tightening dial and laces - both of which can be replaced if they wear out and they have a warranty. The Boas are a bit easier to put on then the EasyBoot (Epic) has a nicer Gaiter support. I'm using the Boas for my TB who throws shoes, and the EasyBoot for my mare who has a flat foot, low frog.

These were fitted by my Natural Hoof Farrier - look for one in your area and I'm sure they can get you fitted correctly. I've referenced one site that really likes the EasyBoot Epic.
Reply:if your going to be riding on gravel and pavement yes boots might help but you really should call the ferrier and get some shoes put on it would be better in the long run!
Reply:Ariat has awesomely durable boots. I got some for $68.I'm not sure if they sell western though, but they do sell field boots.
Reply:If your going to spend alot of time on rocks and road do your horse a favor and call the farrier
Reply:Sorry. Horse shoes are about it for protection. If you are riding on rocks, gravel etc., you might want to have pads as well. Nothing worse than a soul bruise that abscesses. Now you are in for big vet mills, bandages, duct tape, and a long healing time..... YOU may not want horse shoes, but your horse does.

In the wild, horses that aren't shod don't really need shoes... they don't walk that far, run that hard, and for sure aren't carrying 120 lbs. If a horse wears his feet too too far down in the wild, he runs less. If he really has worn his feed badly, he is lunch for something else.

Shoes were invented to reduce the wear on feet that were never meant to be ridden where we all like to ride, nor were they meant to carry weight as far and as long as we now ask them to.

You are doing a disservice to your horse by riding him without shoes. Surely you can anticipate when you are going to be on a slick road... if nothing else get off, and LEAD him across it!
Reply:I don't think any brand of boots is good for long term use. If your horse needs shoes, just get them. It will be cheaper and easier in the long run.
Reply:I've heard very good things on the Easy Boots. A few riders in our sheriffs posse use them they hold up a long time on roads and rocky trails and don't seem to come off during short runs for those horses. They aren't cheap but certainly aren't too much if they last a while. Shoes are quite unnecessary for occasional rocky trails and pavement for a horse is mainly on good ground with decent feet. Good luck

HelP with my pointes shoes! how to make them last longer!?

Hi, I'm having a performance in a week, but the problem is that I ordered a pair, but I wont get them in time. I have a bunch of old pointes and I was wondering If there is anything I can do to make them stronger, in order to dance with them ???

HelP with my pointes shoes! how to make them last longer!?
Jet Glue isnt amazing, but it will do the trick if you use the least broken pair you have
Reply:There is really nothing you can do to make them stronger. Depending on how broken in they are they should work fine. You can try the glue but it probably won't work.
Reply:you may have tried this, but why don't u use Jet Glue. It is made specifically for the boxes etc of pointe shoes to make them stronger and hard again and to make them last much longer.

Do jumps soles (the ones you put in your shoes) work?

i can jump pretty high right now like i'm 5'7 and i'm white lol but i'm an inch and a half away from tipping rim. I play this team called the harlem wizards during the summer at a camp and the rim is 2-3 inches lower but i probably still cant dunk. Last year i was 5'5 and a half during the summer and i could tip it. So i wanna try using jump soles... do they work???

Do jumps soles (the ones you put in your shoes) work?
Yes, they do work. The jump soles target the calves and the tendons. Those are the primary muscles they target. It also target the hamstrings as a secondary.

But don't just work your calves. Work your quads. When you crouch down for the jump, the major muscle that is used is your quads. Then, as you jump and go off your feet, your calves are the primary muscle.

Jump soles won't make you gain over a foot in vertical in a year, but it should give you up to six inches of vertical gain.

Tipping the rim won't get you the dunk. You have to go at least wrist over to dunk.

Good luck.
Reply:Yeah, I play for a team in the summer also, I trained with them and I am 5'11 (Maybe 6'0) I'm an average jumper, but I can easily dunk now. They are a good investment and they can improve your speed also ! Go ahead and get some, just make sure you train right with them (they come with a booklet and video) Good Luck !
Reply:They can't hurt... you should do some strengthening exercises on your legs as well.

Why, for the last time, can't a person wear a hat indoors?

I thought about this all through school. Why can't I wear my hat in here? You can wear pants. Shirts are also a must. Most wear socks. Why not a hat? No shoes, definately. You'll get the floor dirty or wear out the carpet. But what harm can happen from a hat? I once walked into church with a hat on. The look from people! So why is a hat not acceptable indoor attire?

Why, for the last time, can't a person wear a hat indoors?
It is rude because most people who are doing it know and understand that it is considered a rude thing to do %26amp; do it anyway just to show their lack of respect/disrespect for others.
Reply:I agree with you, the rule has no point to it. Report It

Reply:It's consider to be rude. Are the lights indoors too bright or are you afraid it might rain?
Reply:According to Emily Post: "Basically, hats are removed when going indoors as a measure of respect. Therefore, caps and hats should be removed when entering a home (which includes while eating at the table), when entering a place of religion, or when going to a restaurant. When entering a store or other "public area" like a train station, the hat or cap may remain on. This applies to baseball caps worn by men or women. Hats and caps are always removed for the Pledge of Allegiance or the National Anthem.

Women's hats that are part of their ensembles and therefore fashion accessories may be worn indoors, including at a restaurant table, etc. If they are large-brimmed, they should be removed in a theater or other place where they block the vision of the person behind. Aside from garden parties and formal teas where hats are often left on, women generally remove their hats when dinning in someone's home.

The guidelines for wearing of hats by men and women are still an important part of our manners today. Hat traditions and manners may have originated in medieval times when knights lifted their face guard to show who they were, or in the days of the cowboys when a hat was lifted and removed to show there was no weapon hidden underneath. It became a sign of respect to others that has always remained."

When was the last time u slipped and fell on ice?

When was the last time u slipped and fell on ice?
Last winter I was coming home from being at a friends house and it was snowy outside and I knew the sidewalk was icy so I walked through the grass as much as I could, but I had to step on the side walk to get to the stairs. Anyway it was one of those classic movie falls, one step on the ice and my foot slid out from under me and I ended up on my back and hit my head really hard. My sister said that I had a concussion because I was all delirious and giggly. That was when I learned that tennis shoes are better than boots.

I have a vehicle that ive been driving since last year. i got it from an used car lot.?

its fairly new (2003) i stop paying the note and they are looking for the vehicle to repo it. im undecided: i can file for chapter 7 and keep it and at the same time, get my credit clean. or i could take the money to pay an attorney and put down on another vehicle, and jus wait 7 years for my credit to start over. i would like some serious comments from maybe somebody who knows my shoes or who can relate to the matter at hand. whats the advantages and disadvantages of filing bankruptcy?

I have a vehicle that ive been driving since last year. i got it from an used car lot.?
If the car is in good shape and runs good then file and keep it. If you buy after, your interest rates afterwards will be much higher until your 7 years are up.
Reply:First--if you file bankruptcy, you will only keep the car if you agree to continue paying on it. The primary advantage to filing with a vehicle is that you can opt to simply give it up and have the debt discharged, continue to make payments while still being able to later change your mind without further negative circumstances. As long as it's a secured debt, the creditor will retain their right to the property until the debt is paid.

As to the advantages vs. disadvantages, it depends an awful lot on how much debt you have vs. income. If there is simply no way you can dig out, it may be your best option. It is true that it is not the black mark it once was on your credit. True, it is a big negative, but their are plenty of sub-prime lenders out there who will provide at least secured loans without much difficulty--often within the first year after discharge.

However, the laws governing bankruptcy either have changed or soon will, requiring credit counseling prior to filing a Chapter 7 petiition. If you're seriously considering it, consult a qualified attorney. They will usually talk to you about it initially for little or no cost. However, if there's any way to avoid bankruptcy, I would strongly recommend it. It does stay on your record for 10 years and certainly doesn't do you any good.
Reply:i say file banrupcy and try calling the collection angency and make arrangements.
Reply:You won't have to wait 7 years. I've known several people that did bankruptcy, and in just a few months they were getting offers for car loans in the mail. I think they do this cause they know you don't have debt. The only thing is ... it's a higher interest rate than normal.
Reply:If you file for bankruptcy, it will be hard for you to get a loan for a few years on anything- car or house. So I would see if you have any expenses in the near future in those areas.

Just some tidbits of advice. Good luck. Attorneys tend to overcharge and underwork from my experience.
Reply:It is best to go to your dealer and try to renegotiate payment terms. The dealer would like that a lot more. Keep your credit clean.
Reply:Before you even think about filing for bankruptcy, you need to know the new bankruptcy laws and how it fits into your plans. They have made it a lot more difficult to get one.

And I would not go that route unless you owe a whole lot of money, especially in credit cards.
Reply:give the car back, the dealer will usually help to keep the credit clean, and don't live outside your means, or the interest when you do get new loans will kill you.

My son was put in a chok hold by one of his teachers and bruised really bad, what do i do?

My son suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder so he is smaller classes who are trained to give extra assistance to kids like him. But last week during class my son stepped out of the class room like he has been told he can do and has done several times before and when the teacher didn't like it he tried to push my son back into the class room. My son pushed the teacher back and that is when the school said the teacher took my son down with a choke hold. The teacher held him down for so long and with such force that he bruised his entire face, put bruises all around his neck and on his arm, busted his nose and blood balls were in both of my sons eyes. Child protective services and a detective and a police officer all say it was assualt and that the teacher went overboard but now the school is changing their story about what happened to put all the blame on my son and they are trying to press assault and terroristic charges on my son. Has anyone been in my shoes and can you help

My son was put in a chok hold by one of his teachers and bruised really bad, what do i do?
Get a lawyer!! If you did that to him it would be child abuse and its still child abuse when the teacher does it.
Reply:How do you know he wasn't provoking the teacher?

If he had it coming then he had it coming, end of story.
Reply:Get an attorney. If your son had done those things to the teacher, he'd be sitting in jail. Your son's PTSD should be documented and on file with the school and your family physician, so you've probably got the upper hand here. See what an attorney says.
Reply:if you have not done so already, take pictures of his injuries and contact a personal injury atty.
Reply:Get a good lawyer, hold them accountable!
Reply:First, contact an attorney to discuss your options.

Second, I would also contact the local media (TV, radio and newspapers) and tell them your story. As a general rule, schools really don't like negative media attention.

Good luck!
Reply:I would get off the computer and get a lawyer.
Reply:If the police truly said that the teacher assaulted your son, and you have a copy of the police report, then file charges against the teacher. And retain a lawyer to sue the school.
Reply:The police are involved, as you noted, so the investigation continues. As for the school "changing its story", while this could be malicious on their part--and this is important--it could be that there is a better picture, clearer details, that has since emerged.

It is not normal that teachers attack and batter children. It is normal, sorry to say, for children to describe situations differently and even overtly lie to protect themselves. That is why minors, children or mentally/emotionally handicapped adults cannot be held fully responsible for their actions at all times. Teachers can lie too, but as trained adults their judgment is usually far more correct in a vast majority of situations and events.

You already know that your child has emotional difficulties, beyond simply childhood. Please prepare yourself to face a possible reality--your child may be the one who "went overboard".

Having taught other people's precious darlings for a time, children can be incredibly vicous and have memory and responsibility lapses afterwards that would make polished politicians proud. Your teacher may have been wrong, but your child may not have been the pristine saint you would like to believe. Sorry.
Reply:If what you are saying is true, I'd say I believe the Detectives and say the Teacher went overboard. Get a copy of the Detectives report. Ask the Detective if assault charges are being filed. Contact a good Lawyer right away. I hope you took pictures of your sons face. If not, the Police probably did, get them too if possible. Good Luck.
Reply:Press charges against the teasher and the school,Retain a lawyer....right now. get off the internet and get moveing. This is your Son your talking about...Please do it NOW !
Reply:With the police report on your side, documented proof of PTSD, get that hospital report, and PICTURES if he's still messed up. Call a lawyer and you'll hear him drooling on the other end of the line...
Reply:Here is the part I hone in on: he is in smaller classes who are trained to give extra assistance to kids like him. If they are trained, and take the responsibility for these kids, they are responsible for any outcome regardless of how badly your son behaved. They should be trained first to difuse the situation before it gets out of hand, that failing they are trained to restrain the child causing the least amount of trauma to the child. Get a lawyer and sue the school, and the teacher.

I need some advice on some stuff i saw at ***** can you help long question...?

I am looking for some cool things to get my fiance for fathers day(he's the father of my child) I was thinking of a few things and was wondering if anyone has had any opinions on them...whether it's a waste of money or not. First of all there's a wireless fishfinder that goes on your wrist like a watch it's like $60 and then they have scales and i was wondering which one would be better a digital or regular...and i was thinking about a pair of waders but i'm wondering if they'll get in the way of his commando fishing styles(last time we were knee deep in mud fishing from the waterline...there's not a doubt in my mind he'd dive in for a fish..lol)will they make you stick in the mud more like shoes do?and last but not least is a

seahawk400kit*over11ft, three air chamber design, includes oars, pump, oar holders and fish pole holder good (like worth $70)?

I need some advice on some stuff i saw at ***** can you help long question...?
The fishfinder is OK. I had one for a while but the battery in the transducer goes dead after a couple years and you have to buy another one. It doesn't have a high pixil count which basically means you cant see detail well. The higher the pixels, the better the unit is, but the more you will pay. If he primarily shore fishes, it is a good investment if your using it to find structure(which holds some fish species).

Scales:

Go with the digital scale. The more expensive, the better it will be. In other words, it will measure down to ounces and 1/10 of a gram (I think). The spring scales are often inaccurate, and hard to read, and...they pretty much just mark the lbs.

Waders, not sure...sorry. :-(

I am not a fan of smaller boats, so I'd say no on that also. But you never know, he might love it. It sounds like a good deal, but chances are your better off getting the most expensive equipment you can afford.

Remember as with anything else, you get what you pay for. If you buy junk, it won't last very long. The more you pay, the longer the equipment will last, provided he takes the time to properly maintain his equipment.

The previous poster sounds like a jerk. Obviously he doesn't know what the word "fiance" means. Sorry some people have nothing better to do than put down, on the internet none the less!
Reply:I would stick with one thing, not the fish finder to gimmicky and overpriced,

not the inflatable boat........

maybe the waders, but why don't you try a float tube setup.......

whatever you buy save the reciept so you can go back and say.........he rather have the ..........
Reply:The one guiding principle that I have when buying things for someone's hobby is that what seems cool to me is dorky for the recipient.

I would much rather get a Dick's gift card than a gift that I would not use. Your heart is in the right place. Get the gift card and cook him a nice meal.
Reply:Lots of things to consider, mostly is his style of fishing. The wireless fish finder is a good choice especially if fishing from shore or a pier. Digital is the way o go when it comes to scales. They are much more accurate and much easier to read, but when it comes to these as with most things, the more you spend the better it will be and more features it will have. Waders area pretty good choice, but there are just too many styles and types available. As for the boat, I would have to say probably not. I use a float tube and a pontoon boat, but both were over $200. At that price point, it just doesn't seem like it would be durable enough to survive very long.
Reply:Why don't you get him a Mariage License and make your child legitimate?

I thought I could handle being alone indefinitely?

I thought I could handle being alone indefinitely, having no intimate contacts in case of emergency, in case I have a question about anything, in case I run into trouble. But now I feel like a basketcase. I just discovered I've lost my driver's license, after a workday that has been too long, and my shoe-lace just untied itself which hardly ever happens to me at work. I'm sorry this sounds like nothing to get unnerved about. But to me, it is just the loud and clear signal I have been anticipating that says all is not well with me; I am on my last straw and I have nothing left to hold onto before I am crushed like a bug. Yes, no need to tell me that I am overly dramatic. I know that already. It's just that no one is paying attention, and it only upsets me more because I am at my wits end trying my best to be okay with my situation and I've done everything I feel comfortable doing. Anything else just feels unsafe right now so it probably is for me.

I thought I could handle being alone indefinitely?
You didn't say if you have a church or synagog to have a place to socialize. You need to use sports or other things to help you meet people and not feel so alone. You sound like you are very young and having a lonely time. Take life a little more easy instead of worrying about yourself or sitting around being lonely. Get a bicycle and join a club. Go out and enjoy nature or plant a garden. I'm sure you'll find something to take your mind off your worries.
Reply:i dont know every answer but i think it also happened to me, we have to accept that God (Jesus)can help us, love God above all %26amp; love your fellow as yourself. God Bless...

Why Can't I Remember What I'm Doing Today?

Last night I got pretty drunk. Today I hardly remember anything. Usually I'm very keen and stuff, but today I'm not, like I commented this girls pic on myspace like 5 minutes ago and I had to see it again to remember I did it, it's been like that all day, normally I could remember something I did early in the morning like tying my shoe, but today I've been so out of it and just can't remember crap. Why could this be?

Why Can't I Remember What I'm Doing Today?
Rest a bit more? Hangover needs some time...

If I had some medications or did not sleep too well for the night, my memory and focus in things get pretty bad too.

Guess the best way is to rest the mind and body.:)

New shoes shredding the skin off of my heels!?

i bought a pair of shoes on line last week. theyre supposed to be socks-less shoes... i think. http://www.zappos.com/n/multi_view.cgi?p...

theyre great, very comfortable until i start walking around in them. at first it was just my right heel that was becoming injured, but now its both. i now have to wear duct-tape on both of my heels. i want to wear them everyday, but i cant stand the pain. ... what can i do, other than duct-taping my heels everyday?

New shoes shredding the skin off of my heels!?
wear socks?
Reply:The girls I know say most of those sockless shoes make there feet smell too so that is something else to consider unless you don't mind of course
Reply:wicked nice shoes but i would def. wear those peds or half socks, no shoes except for thongs are made for bare feet. try bandaids if you insist on no socks. but try the peds you hardly know they are on.
Reply:Buy heel grips. They sell them at shoe stores. It will prevent the rubbing.
Reply:The only thing you can do is buy different shoes. Shoes and duct tape do not go together!
Reply:Those shoes are so cheap if you clicked your heels together three times you'd wind up in a crack house. No offense.
Reply:use some mole skin on your heels. I've completed BCT and mole skin and I became very close friends
Reply:Get n3W sHOEz
Reply:Just wear them around home a few hours each day. Sadly, with some shoes it is more like breaking in your feet. There is some stuff you can buy at shoe stores to stretch your shoes. Why not give that a try?
