When was the last time u slipped and fell on ice?
I was wearing a pair of high top boots with a good sole. The ice was covered with a thin layer of snow. I slipped and did not even fall down, broke my leg and 8 or 10 bones in the ankle. Have had 12 or so surgeries to try to get it back to working right. Spent the first year in a cast, and on crutches for another 8 months. They have rebuilt the ankle several times and rebroke the leg once. Not fun. Never did get to wear out the boots, only one of them.....
Reply:last Jan. a pair of clogs, my husband is always complaining about my choices in footwear, but a girl has to look good right?
Reply:We moved from AZ to WI and after 2 years of no snow, it was a stupid maneuver


I did, I wore my sandals just to run out to the car and went flyin down the steps, caught myself and the next step I took wham..on my ***..lol..I broke my toe and man did that hurt! A bruised *** and broken toe, well, I have never worn my sandals again in the snow.
Reply:i was wearing nikes and was playing on the ice then fell, i had a bruise on my rump! it was last like December, i think!
