What is the best way to walk in heels?

i'm flat footed and every time i walk in heels i can't last to long, my feet start hurting and crap. i don't know how to do it i tried leaning more on the heel but my foot always slips forward. like the shoes feel comfortable at first but then start to hurt, like after a couple of minutes. i'm not sure if i should walk heel then ball, at the same time. its very confusing and painful

What is the best way to walk in heels?
it taught you how to walk in seventeen or cosmo girl dont remember which but it said to have your shoulders straight for balance and when you take a step foward have your heel first to reach the ground then your toes

dont go to 4 inch heels right away start with kiddy heels first

and it might be good to use a padding for your foot if its cramping up

good luck and work it!
Reply:Well if you're flat footed, it may be difficult to walk in heels because your feet do have a defined arch. It might help if you begin to wear low heels to just get used to them, and then work your way up to higher heels. If your feet are hurting and cramping up, you might want to go to a cvs or walgreens and buy Dr. Scholls heel pads. They are meant to be used when you use heels to help your foot to be more comfortable. As far as walking, try to first step foward and place the heel on the ground first, then the ball of your foot. Repeat slowly with the other foot. You just need to find what is right for your foot, so don't get frustrated. Try a few different things and see what works best.
Reply:walk like you would regularly with shoes just be balanced, flat footed people usually have a hard time no matter what. some shoes are just uncomfortable not matter what though.
Reply:just walk normally like you usually do when your wearing any other shoes!
Reply:very carefully
