Knee pain question?

I run 15-20 miles a week. I think I wore my last shoes about twice as long as I should have. My problem only occurs when I bend my knee about 45 degrees then it hurts from the weight and the harder I push to straighten it the worse it hurts. It does not hurt when I run because I don't bend it that far while running. Any ideas?

I had the same problem a month ago. This was cause by over training and too much weight training on my legs. I took a few weeks off and stopped weight training on my legs and it worked.
Reply:I had the same thing after dislocating both my knees, wear a stiff knee brace and when you have time to rest, use a heat pack.
Reply:What I would suggest is ask a sports trainer,there is one at this site who ran track in college and might be able to help.
Reply:best to have it checked out...or consider resting. if you really want to continue wear a brace and put some ice after your workout
