I'm a woman with Back&leg pain.I need a pair of shoes that will help me walk in comfort.Please help me Thanks!

I am a woman in my late 20s. I have Fibromyalgia, 2 slip disc in my lower back, along with a bladder disorder, IC. I live everyday in pain, and recently have had to be put on a water pill due to retaining alot of water. Last year my left leg was paralyzed due to nerves. I have regained all range of motion. Now I really need to protect my legs and body. So if anyone out there can help me to find a good pair of shoes, if possible I would love to find some that are both stylish comfortable. Thank You!!

Sorry to hear about all of your ailments. I have some similar problems as I have 2 herniated dics in my lower back and that causes me chronic pain, leg pain and leg weakness. I have found that shoes that offer either a gel or air cushioning provides me with a lot less discomfort. I personally wear a pair of Asics Gel athletic shoes most of the time. When I have to wear shoes that are less comfortable, I use gel heel cups.
Reply:Try a pair of Birkenstock clogs. They come in fashionable styles and are great for long term wear. We wear them religiously in the hospital and their great.
