Running shoes?

I plan on buying some new running shoes(my last ones had a bad arch) any suggestions on some Really good running shoes?

Running shoes are very specialized and offer quite a variety. the best thing to do is to try on a lot of different models until you find a pair that is both comfortable and functional according to your needs.
Reply:Go to a running specialty store (or check out Runner's World online) for appropriate shoes based on your foot type.





There are different shoes made for different foot types (for example overpronators whose feet roll inwards versus suponators whose feet roll out). Also, narrow vs. wide feet.





I've run in Asics for years. Lots of runners like them. Also, Brooks, Saucony, and New Balance are good bets.

Reply:The best thing to do is not to try on a bunch of shoes. The best solution is to find a running shoe store (there are some in almost every city) and bring your old shoes. The workers there will look at your shoes, watch you run, and recommend new shoes. Blindly trying on shoes is useless when there are people out there who are paid to help you find the correct shoe.
