What is it if when I breathe out towards the end of the breath out its like I can't complete the breath out

I have noticed this has been happening for a while. I have been having palpatations for about 4 1/2 months. I had them last year and they seemed to go away during the summer and now they have been back since just before New Year's. To go along with that I have had trouble breathing and I think I just figured out that it's because it seems like I can't fully complete my breath out. It just seems to get blocked or something. I do not have wheezing so I am not convinced it's asthma. I take anxiety meds so it shouldn't be that. It could be though. Sometimes I feel my stomach muscles are tense, but not always. I have the palpitations mostly when I bend over to tie my shoes or pet my dog and stuff like that. Also at night when I lay on my back and take a deep breath in it causes palpitations. If I sit with my knees to my chest I have palpitations. I have also had a stuffy nose for a while. I can't blow anything out though, it's just kind of stuffed. I can breathe through my nose but not 100%

It sounds to me like you may have some sort of allergic or reactive airways condition going on. Airways can react or show symptoms of asthma for many reasons. Springtime is prime allergy season and you may be reacting to something in the air. When the airways react, they become inflamed and secrete mucus as a defense mechanism. The feeling you have of not being able to exhale all the way is possibly from "air trapping" - air gets trapped in your lungs as you exhale and the airways close prematurely. Try an over the counter antihistime and if that doesn't help - see and allergist. I did and it made a big difference for me. Good luck. I hope you feel better soon!
Reply:There are two good reasons you are having this problem. But the best advise is - you need to get problem checked by doctor. Your description of what is happening- suggests you have a heart problem.Breathlessness comes on very slowly and then you get the symptoms you describe. The other problem you have is -Stress. You are worrying about your symptoms. Stress leads to heart attacks also. You are also having panic Attacks. These attacks take the form of-sweating,stuffy nose, palpitations, dizzyness, amxiety. Your doctor can prescribe. Not knowing your health stats, I cannot be certain about success. But you do need to treat your condition as urgent.
