What do you do when a friend is suddenly “too busy” for you?

There’s this girl from high school with who got in touch with me last year over a social networking site. We were not friends in high school, but we now live in the same city. She was fairly new in town, so I introduced her to some of my friends and we would hang out quite a bit. In addition being the friend I am, whenever she needed to talk about something (which was often) I was always there for her. However, for the past four months she has been MIA. Whenever, I see if she wants to do anything she is always “busy” or “has other plans.” It seems that now when the shoe is on the other foot, she is nowhere to be found. I’ve emailed her “what’s up” and she hasn’t responded. Should I write this friend off? Have I been used?

What do you do when a friend is suddenly “too busy” for you?
Sorry to say it sounds like she used you to get her foot in the door and now that she has friend's she no longer wants to be around you :(





I know how it is ,as this girl I knew only wanted to be around me when she had no one else to be with.
