Is this a good introduction to a tall tale?

Jeremy was always, always, always the last in everything. Ever since he was little, he was always the very last to learn to tie his shoes, the last to learn to read, and the last to count to 10. Even though he was quite intelligent (with an IQ of 173), he just decided to go the slow route. Now, imagine a parallel universe where puberty took place in a day, or even overnight? This is the case for Jeremy, who just turned 12. Little did he know that he would have to go against his reliably slow ways and go through some very drastic changes, very soon.





My plan was that Jeremy would go through the developmental changes of puberty overnight. Any ideas, comments, changes that need to be made? Thanks.
