HELP?! Best way to overhaul?!?

I just painted my room last week and so I had to take everything out. All of my stuff needs to be organized and sorted through. I am in the middle of this process right now. I need some suggestions on how to sort certain things. Help on any of the following would be great:





Best way to organize shoes in a closet? by category? I have many pairs.





Best way to organize clothing ie: shirts, pants, underwear, all of it.





Best way to sort through junk?





What "memorabilia" should I throw away?





How to keep my room simple and clutter free?





Best way to display pictures, or little desk ornaments without being cluttery? Or do I even have to display them all?





Anyone with suggestions on organizational tools that have worked for you PLEASE help! I am a busy high schooler so I don't have much time to spend on cleaning during the school year. Something effective that is easy to keep up long term?

HELP?! Best way to overhaul?!?
Go to wal mart or like and get small to large plastic/wicker bins for you things and sort through everything and sort into each container. The plastic can be stored under your bed or in you closet and you wicker baskets can be out with your display items.

The best thing I have found for shoes is a thing made our of canvas that you hang on the clothes bar. It makes little shoe boxes that float in the air. Takes as much space as a jacket and allows you to stuff 10 pairs of shoes in there.





You sound pretty anxious about this. It's best to try to calm down as you organize and think as you act.
